Meet Rich Santistevan and Eddie Lilliock, two of the owners of Dos Reyes. They have set up their Mexican kitchen at 5203 Interboro Ave. in the old Porked Restaurant space.

People gathered online and in person for the May 13 Greater Hazelwood monthly community meeting. They got exciting news about painted crosswalks coming to the business district. They also learned about a possible concept for the former home of Josza’s Corner. In Hazelwood Green news, an obscure zoning code change was discussed. Representatives from Module Housing visited for a second time to talk about their planned development.

On April 22, District 5 City Councilor Barb Warwick held a post-agenda hearing on Pittsburgh Water’s announced “pause” on the Four Mile Run project and other flood mitigation projects in the city. Representatives of Pittsburgh Water (formerly PWSA) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers attended and answered questions.

A few years ago, I was invited by The Community Builders Inc. to submit a proposal for an artwork for the lobby of the Gladstone Residences. I was asked to design this artwork using the wooden backs of the chairs of the auditorium from when it was a school.
